Diego's talent quickly garnered international attention, leading to guest performances across Italy, France, Kazakhstan, Uruguay, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, and Switzerland. His expertise in both classical and modern dance also led him to teach masterclasses and serve as a jury member at various dance festivals in Brazil.

In 2012 and 2013, Diego participated as a guest artist in the "Virtuosos of World Ballet" gala, performing in 25 cities across Russia and Ukraine. His exceptional skill was further recognized in 2014 when he won the award for Best Classical and Modern Dancer at the international dance competition "Arabesque" in Perm, Russia. Since the 2015/2016 season, Diego has been a member of the ballet ensemble at the Salzburger Landestheater. He has since captivated audiences with standout performances, including his roles as the Prince in Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker" and Josephine Baker in "Mythos Coco."

In 2024, Diego performed as Urania in the production of Xanadu at the Salzburger Landestheater. The previous year, 2023, saw him take on roles such as Hai and Gelber Masken-Pinzettfisch in Der Regenbogenfisch, as well as Gorm and Wolf in Wickie und die starken Männer. In 2022, he portrayed Jacob in Der Schuh des Manitu and was part of the ballet ensemble in Hair, both at the Salzburger Landestheater.
